Photoexcitations in 2D semiconductors

Our paper on characterization and visualization of defects’ spatial distribution in as-grown CVD MoS2 monolayers has been submitted to 2D Materials.

Ana Senkić has started her Erasmus+ Traineeship at at Politecnico di Milano for the period of  three  months.

We are excited to announce that our Labs have moved to a new CALT building.

Valentino Jadriško joined the group of prof. Gadermeier at Politecnico di Milano for the period of six months.

In collaboration with colleagues form Politecnico di Milano we have investigated ultrafast dynamic in strained systems.

Our PhD students Ana Senkić and Antonio Supina together with Master Student Josip Bajo have successfully grown first MoS2 samples.

After successfully defended Master thesis and graduation from the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Ana started her PhD at Institute of Physics. 

Two group members have participated on 7th edition of conference Flatlands beyond Graphene in Toulouse, France.

We are looking for beginning PhD student to work on her/his PhD thesis in the area of ultrafast dynamics.

Ana Senkić successfully defended her Master thesis and graduated from the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.

Our PhD participated on Summer School on Physical Sensing and Processingf rom the 3rd to the 10th of July 2019 at the Bologna University in Bologna, Italy.

We are looking for enthusiastic student to work with us on experimental projects that could result in completed Seminar Project or an initiated M.Sc. Thesis.
