Our paper on characterization and visualization of defects’ spatial distribution in as-grown CVD MoS2 monolayers has been submitted to 2D Materials.

The manuscript entitled ,,Microscopic Investigation of Intrinsic Defects in CVD Grown MoS2 Monolayers’’ presents the study on non-destructive characterization and visualization of defects’ spatial distribution in as-grown CVD MoS2 monolayers on a micrometre scale, that also correlates CVD growth parameters with the structural and optical properties of the samples. By using the combination of different microscopic techniques such as Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy (KPFM), temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL) measurements and room-temperature ultrafast transient absorption (TA) microscopy, a crucial link between synthesis conditions and electronic and optical properties of materials is established.
